The Trip
For many years, he has been wandering among forgetfulness, vengeance and pleasures.
He has been trying to forget the pain, he has been seeking vengeance from those who hurt him and numbing his mind with worldly pleasures.
He failed in forgetting, the pain didn’t wear down, but he excelled in vengeance, and pleasures have been a powerful medicine against the lack of forgetfulness.
Vengeance has been a savory victory over the hypocrite, the materialistic, the superficial, the stupid and the corrupted. An ugly and scary vengeance, deprived from any compassion, charged with disgust and despise and bestowing continuous humiliation. It was systematic annihilation of all emotions towards these who made his heart of stone and his tears of acid.
Transcendence in pleasures is the only viable choice in these moments of utter rage!
He was getting lost in a world of sensations and debauchery; surrendering to the lust of the soul and the adoration of the body; running away from normal people and their conventions; fleeing from their small and stingy values; wandering without limits or constraints, without watches or agendas; floating in the vapors of the substance of life, and imbibing the liquid of exaltation. Getting lost, leaving reality, defying tiredness, wasting time, forgetting details, … and drifting to the frontiers of perdition!
Will this trip ever end?
Today, as he writes these words, many years into this trip, seeing what he sees, knowing what he knows, and feeling what he feels, he speaks the following words: “This trip has just started. It might slow down a bit, especially in appearance, but not in the thoughts. In my thoughts, this trip starts anew every day. There are no alternative trips, equivalent in beauty and attractiveness! If there are, please tell me where can I join and when?”
